“Zombie Bank” – a movie @kickstarter

October 19, 2012

Filmmaker Mike De Caro is trying to raise $10,000 on Kickstarter for a new zombie movie “Zombie Bank”:

ZOMBIE BANK is set in a bank in the downtown New York Financial District. It tells the story of Joseph, a desperate young man living in a collapsing world, assaulted by a deadly virus that transforms and mutates humans into white-eyed flesh eating hunters.

The Kickstarter page for this Zombie Bank movie lists #Occupy as an inspiration and embedded this video of zombie cos-players occupying Bank of America last year:

Unfortunately, De Caro’s movie is not a documentary about real zombie banks. Instead, De Caro’s trailer for the movie “Zombie Bank” defines a zombie bank as “a fictional institution that has an economic net worth less than zero.” But is that really fictional? Recall some previous mentions of zombie banks here at ZombieLaw and consider switching your money to a credit union.
