MIT Researchers Predict World Collapse, Zombies Dance

And I just realized that Usher’s hit song “DJ Got Us Falling in Love Again” includes the lyric:

Thank God the week is done, I feel like a zombie gone back to life.

Once again strengthening the metaphor that workers are zombies; a zombie proletariat for a coming revolution. Zombie economics is popular. Recall my recent zombielaw post on Zombie Economic Discourse

“So dance, dance like it’s the last, last night of your life,”

Two week ago, had an article by Chris Deville “Spin city: DJs rule Columbus nightlife” about Clampdown, “the longest running monthly dance party in town” (since 2004). The article also described an episode of IFC, television show Portlandia:

a zombie movie parody is breaking out, the protagonists fleeing a mob of DJs that includes a homeless guy spinning records from his shopping cart.

The point was unmistakable: Everybody wants to be a DJ these days.

Is this the working class yearning to join the creative class? Can we do more than dance? Shall we Zombie protest? Recall: Zombie protests in Iowa AND Tea Partier calls Occupy “Zombies” or this footage from 2006:
