“Of Zombies and Brains: The Life of a Neuroscientist”
(AP) “UNM to hear neuroscientist’s ‘zombie’ talk” :
Timothy Verstynen, a Carnegie Mellon University professor, is scheduled to speak at the University of New Mexico today and explain how the behavior of horror movie zombies can be understood as a series of neurological impairments.
The lecture entitled “Of Zombies and Brains: The Life of a Neuroscientist”
Recall Verstynen is co-creator (with Bradley Voytek) of the Neuroscience Diagnosis of a Zombie Cartoon and the two were profiled last summer in Chronicle of Higher Education.
